The successes in the season 2005 – Tiomila, Jukola and National Championship relay – nailed TuMe’s colours permanently in the retina of the orienteering world. With season 2006 approaching there is every reason to expect even greater success: the numerous young Black talents waiting hungrily for the opportunity to burst into the international elite, and all the old shrewd foxes who know how to beat these young rooster when necessary make expectation for the coming season as exciting as tasting Edgar’s famous mushroom dishes.
The time of empty boasting is gone, we’ll just do what we can and everybody knows where that can take us!!

Season 2006 will see a TuMe Team with even more routine: the basic group is completely the same as before. The only changes will be seen in the coaching zone where there will be new actors ready to take over and distribute again some of the numerous task needed to keep this pirate ship floating and ready for attack. The daily training will be basically concentrated in three different locations: Turku, of course, with a structured training regime including a lot of legendary night brawls; in Helsinki the training discipline will be at least as hard as in Turku, but the style of training quite different as all the lone wolves will be howling at the long-distance moon quite separate from each others - there can not be too many alpha-males in the same town… Finally there is Riga, where the former Latvian basketball team candidates will whip each others into training frenzy - you better look out for these young and rebellious players also in the international championships!
