Nevertheless the clubs\u00a0roots are deep in the Turku region and activity is\u00a0tightly entwined with local scouts activities.<\/p>\n<p>The Clubs base, know colloquially as <em>kolo\u00a0<\/em>is right besides Puolala park in the hearth\u00a0of Turku. Campgrounds are located at Kemi\u00f6 and Yl\u00e4ne, surrounded by excellent terrain, about an hour away<br \/>\nfrom Turku by car.<\/p>\n<p>The Club is middle-sized, with about 80 active members, offering<br \/>\nactivities from the youngest scouts all\u00a0the way to the world&#8217;s top-orienteers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Turku based traditional orienteering club Turun Mets\u00e4nk\u00e4vij\u00e4t\u00a0is a part of a Scout Community by the same name.
